The Mining Industry Skills Centre is pleased to announce the winners from the 2009 Training Awards Dinner held in Brisbane on Friday night. The finalists for each category were selected after an in-depth judging process which included strict nomination criteria and a face-to-face interview with the Awards judging panel.

Work Readiness, shaping our future for a strong and productive workforce

The Mining Industry Skills Centre has formed a collaboration with key industry and government players in order to provide 11 students from North Queensland with the opportunity to participate in the Skills Centre's Work Readiness Program.
