The training packages and competencies can also be viewed on the Skills DMC website.
Training Quality Concerns
The Department of Education, Training and the Arts is responsible for all training delivered in the state under any of the training packages. The hotline for any concerns about training is 1800 600 039.
Advisory Council Meetings
The Safety and Health Advisory Councils were established under the Coal Mining Safety and Health Act 1999 and the Mining and Quarrying Safety and Health Act 1999, to provide advice and recommendations to the Minister for Mines concerning the promotion and protection of the safety and health of persons at mines and quarries. The outcomes of their meetings can impact on requirements for training and assessment.
