As Chief Advisor for Learning and Development, Deanna is committed to ensuring that the Mining Industry Skills Centre develops an outstanding knowledge of the entire field of skill development, so that this knowledge can be used to address the skills shortage challenges currently faced by our industry.

Deanna’s role involves providing expert advice to individuals and groups on the theories and practice of adult skills generation, and includes long-term futures planning, organisational culture change and training reform. Deanna works closely with industry trainers, safety professionals and learning and development specialists to ensure training best practice supports the safety and operational goals of industry clients.
